The musical main programme of the course concentrates on works of the 18th and 19th centuries. The focus of the Summer Academy is on solo lessons and accompaniment. In addition, there is the opportunity to discover and work on chamber music with other course participants under guidance. Existing ensembles can also register, which will then also be coached as an ensemble.

In addition to the musical course programme, individual coaching sessions are offered on the subject of "healthy, physical music-making".

The evening programme consists of either lectures and rehearsals or concerts in the region. The respective concert programme is determined by the artistic director at the suggestion of the instructors.

Participants are selected on the aid of demo recordings. The course languages are German and English.

Piano: If possible, one or two preludes and fugues from Bach's "Well-Tempered Clavier" as well as a sonata or another work by Haydn, Mozart, van Beethoven or Schubert should be prepared. Concertos and arrangements of organ literature are not suitable.
